Happy NEW YEAR to US

Ok so i'm down 5lbs since the New Year.  I'm still carrying a little left over baby weight from the Rockstar so I've decided to make some lifestyle changes.  Well it's working.  Nothing like a little exercise commitment and health eating to lighten a girl up. Anyway that's not what this post will be about.  This post is about the Raw Vegan lifestyle that I'm trying to follow.  So since January 1, 2013 I have had very limited amounts of cooked food.  I won't say that it has been easy to give up certain things like cheese (mmmm, I love cheese) and pizza (another favorite).  But, I've only fallen off the wagon a few times.  And by a few I mean at least once a day.  But, that's ok I'm not going to beat myself up for having a little cooked food now and then.  But the goal is 100% RAW!  So this weeks favorites include: Soft Taco with Fresh Tomato Salsa and Avocado Chocolate Cream Pie.  Avocados were on sale this week 10 for $10 so I stocked up and when they started to ripen faster then I could eat them I had to do something hence the pie and super delish guacamole.  I'm really loving Matt Amsden Rawvolution cookbook.  So many good Raw recipes.  Additionally, hubby and I joined an organic produce group and we pick up our first share Tuesday.  We've hosted a group before so it will be interesting to see the similarities and differences.  Hopefully there is a limited amount of bokchoy!  I don't care to much for that vegetable and have no idea what to do with it.  I'll keep you posted.
