Looking back and moving forward....

Ok well wow it's so easy to forget about blogging, and to forget about goal.  When I think about blogging it's usually because I have some fantastical idea about something and I need accountability. Ya, it doesn't work to well for me.  Fast forward....about 3 1/2 months ago I made a commitment to my self to start excerizingregularly.  It started with running everyday. It's was hard at first but each day I made myself do it.  When I got to 3 days in a row I was so proud of myself!!! Then a week straight!  I went at it hard until about 4 weeks straight everyday!  Finally, a habit.  Now, I'm not so hardcore about running everyday but I do know that I need excersizing in my life to stay balanced and healthy. My routine now consists of a couple of 4-6 mile runs during the week and a long 10-13 mile run on Sunday. I have met a great running partner with similar goals.  She keeps me on my toes and challenges me to keep with with her pace and distance!!  On the off days from running I hit the gym in our "man cave."  Pinterest has become one of my other favorite pastimes.  Man, you can find any DIY thing on there including great workouts!  If I'm not careful I also find delicious recipes that counteract my hard work in the gym and on the pavement.   My next challenge is the 30 day squat challenge with before and afters of course!!  Happy squatting!!  here is the link http://lindahaukaas.blogg.no/trening.html
